Appreciated for its high vitamin C content, Winter Purslane (also known as Miner's Lettuce, Claytonia perfoliata, or Indian Lettuce) is a wonderful addition to salads or can be used as a refreshing garnish. Enjoy fresh greens in the winter months, right from your own garden!"
Soil Preparation: Prepare your soil with organic matter. Winter Purslane prefers well-drained soil with a pH level of 6.0-7.0.
Sowing: Sow the seeds directly in the garden or in pots, spacing them about 1 inch apart. Plant them about 1/4 inch deep.
Germination: Seeds will germinate within 7-14 days when the temperature is between 10-20°C (50-68°F).
Care: Water regularly but do not let the soil get waterlogged. Provide a sunny to semi-shaded location for best results.
Harvest: Winter Purslane can be harvested approximately 40-60 days after sowing. Pick the leaves as you need them.
